South East Asia (Malaysia) Diary 12 November 2001

I've finally used my jumper today. There's only one thing left in my rucksack that I haven't used and I think that it'll probably come into its own tomorrow.

I've gone up to a hill station North East of KL called the Cameron Highlands. The town is called Tanarata, and is the second of three little places in the area. It's much cooler here than any other places that I've been so far - okay, not quite like the UK in November, but pleasantly cool in the evenings! I had the hangover from hell this morning which made getting here an interesting experience. It's been so long since I've been hangover that I'd forgotten just what it feels like - man, oh man do I remember now!

I've just realised that I didn't even take any pictures of Malaka, the last town that I was in - doh! Here is absolutely beautiful, so I think that the situation is likely to change somewhat over the next few days...

To tomorrow...
