3 egg whites
3 tablspoons cold water
1 cup caster sugar
1 teaspoon vinegar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
3 teaspoons cornflour

beat egg whites 'till stiff, add cold water and beat again. Add castor sugar very gradually while still beating. Slow beater (or fork if you don't have one and are forced to do it by hand - poor fool) and add vinegar, vanilla and cornflour. Place on greased paper on greased tray and bake at 150 deg c for 45 minutes. Leave to cool in the oven.
