I stlll felt like the pair of used underwear that have been festering in the bottom of your rucksack for about a week. I was determined to get out of Jaisalmer and move on. Mainly I wanted to get away from the heat, and give my body a chance to cool down, but partly also I just wanted a change of scenery as I'd been there for 12 days.

The unavoidable bus journey was a predictable nightmare of bad roads and Indian video played at an ear destroying volume, with the breaks in between the films thoughtfully filled with equally intimidating music.

I just slept when I got here. Oh yes, I almost forgot, would you like to see some rain?
