Bleugh, buses. Airlie is quite nice though. It's a smaller, more friendly version of Cairns. Sure, the place is made up almost exclusively of backpacker places and bars and almost every other shop seems to be a tour agent selling Whitsunday sailing trips, but the town seems somehow to be able to pull it off. I'm only here for the day before I too head out to sail the Whitsunday islands.
