The Aussies have some (to me) strange driving laws and habits. Take for example the hook turn that's found down in Melbourne. You're also not allowed to park facing the 'wrong way' on a road. Now I know that it (sort of) makes sense, but even so, it's a bit nanny like in its coddling. Enough ranting. One thing that I did whilst on holiday recently was take pictures. Some rather specific pictures of Aussie signs. Now I'm not going to even begin to pretend that it was an original idea. I owe a debt of gratitude for this reason d'etre for my trip to Helene (remember? The lass that I went travelling around Israel with).
