Australia Diary 17 March 2002

We planned a bit more of the route last night. It looks as though we won't be able to get quite as far as Adelaide in the west (it's really too far) and so will be dropping south onto the Great Ocean Road (take the virtual tour) early and then steam back west. the Great Ocean Road takes you through Melbourne along the coast with some beautiful views, including the 12 Apostles among many others - so look out for the pictures! We'll also then be driving up through Thredbo, have a bit of a climb up Mount Kosciuszko (Pronounced by Australian's as 'Koz-i-osk-o'. Apperently though it should be pronounced 'Cer-ju-sko' - with the french soft 'j'), before stopping off in Cambera on the way back to Sydney.

Went round to Em's folks (parents) place today for a rather lovely Sunday lunch.

To tomorrow
