Got here, finally! Thankfully, I didn't have any more problems with immigration, although I did get my shoes cleaned! Australia has very strict quarantine requirements and does not allow food, untreated wood or soil from other countries in. This means for example that they are quite happy to clean your shoes for you (and a pretty good job they did too!).

I met up at Jen and Jamie's place first thing in the morning, then went on to meet up with Hélène (from Israel). We did all of the usual touristy things - The Opera House, the bridge etc. Unfortunately, I forgot to take my camera, so I'm going to have to go back to take the pictures!
