New Zealand Diary 2 August 2002
Home

It took us some time to get up this morning. When we did it was time for some major driving. We had to drive halfway up the west coast and across the middle of the country back to Christchurch.

Arthur's Pass is the most beautiful road that I've driven along in New Zealand. The west coast is nice, but the road through the centre is brilliant. Again, there's stunning scenery, you know the story by now, mountains, snow, ice and rock and loads of it with bits of forest sprinkled around.

To tomorrow
