We had a lazy day, up late and just a little amble around town this morning. This afternoon we went kayaking on a lake just outside of Frans Josef town. Just amazing. Such a tranquil, quiet place. We paddled over 6 square kilometres of mirror flat lake, surrounded by mountains draped in rain forest. A superb end to the day.
