New Zealand Diary 21 July 2002
Home

I left Maria's place today to rejoin the tour bus. We drove up round the coast, through the Catlins, to Dunedin. The catlins another beautiful area of New Zealand, as if they didn't have enough already, different again from the west and north coasts of the south island. The landscape is rolling hills, exposed slopes and cliffs and bays. We stopped off at a few places to see dolphins (there weren't any), a fossilised forest at Curio bay (that was still there) and New Zealand's Niagra Falls which aren't quite up to the standard set by the US version. I'm going to be staying with Cathy and Crawford, Servas hosts, while I'm in Dunedin.

To tomorrow
