A group of us from the hostel went to Elephanta Island today. This was one of only the two things that I was recommended to do whilst in the city. The other thing to have a look at was the museum - which I failed to do.

I took a local train this afternoon to visit Anil Sutaria and his family. I can't describe adequatly just how cramped and squashed the carriage was, just take their advice and buy a 1st class ticket and take a slow train if you ever have to travel on a local train in Mumbay!
